This microbial fertilizer product has been developed to protect and support sugar beet crops, as well as soybean and celery. With its unique properties, it acts both preventively and curatively, supporting plant health and enhancing soil fertility.
The microorganisms in the product quickly colonize the rhizosphere and plant surfaces, where they produce a range of beneficial metabolites. These substances effectively inhibit the development of soil-borne and foliar pathogens, including Cercospora fungi, the primary cause of Cercospora leaf spot in sugar beets. Importantly, the bacteria not only target pathogens but also support microbial balance in the soil, reducing the risk of disease recurrence and improving overall soil health.
Additionally, the microorganisms in beet protect activate plants' natural defense mechanisms by stimulating induced systemic resistance (SAR). This increases the plants’ ability to respond to biotic stresses, such as fungal infections, and abiotic stresses like drought or sudden temperature changes. The bacteria also support the development of the root system and above-ground parts by making hard-to-access nutrients available. This includes essential macro- and micronutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), and silicon (Si), which are necessary for proper plant development and achieving high yields with good raw material quality.
Regular use of beet protect not only reduces disease pressure but also positively affects soil structure and the rate of post-harvest residue decomposition. This, in turn, reduces the risk of secondary infections and facilitates crop rotation management. The product is recommended for preventive use before sowing or curatively when the first signs of Cercospora leaf spot appear. Such a strategy allows full use of its biological potential and protects the crop during critical stages of plant development.
Bacillus sp. bacteria at a concentration of 3x109 CFU per 1 gram of the product.

The product is best applied before sowing on soil and during the growing season on the plant, ideally before the first symptoms of Cercospora leaf spot appear.
