EKG works in multiple ways, utilizing the full potential of natural humic acids derived from pure leonardite extract. These substances, in the form of highly soluble and bioactive fulvic and humic acids, act on the soil, plants, and soil microflora, triggering a range of processes that improve soil fertility and structure. Physically, the product increases the soil’s water-holding capacity, improves its structure and aeration, reduces erosion, prevents cracking and crusting, and decreases the risk of water loss in light soils. Chemically, EKG neutralizes soil pH, increases cation exchange capacity, enables mineral fertilizers to be retained in the root zone while reducing leaching, and converts unavailable forms of nutrients (macro- and microelements) into forms easily absorbed by plants.
EKG also acts as a natural chelator, supporting the uptake of metal ions in alkaline environments and reducing the toxicity of substances present in the soil. Biologically, EKG stimulates root system development, supports seed germination, increases plant enzymatic activity, improves photosynthesis and respiration, strengthens resistance to stress and pathogens, and stimulates the multiplication of beneficial soil microorganisms. The humic acids present in the product behave like organic catalysts of plant life processes – similar to vitamins or auxins – activating natural growth and regeneration mechanisms.
EKG also supports the formation of a natural protective barrier on the leaf surface, reducing excessive transpiration and the impact of UV radiation, which positively affects plant condition during stress periods. In addition, regular application of the product improves the humus structure of the soil, resulting in long-term increases in its quality and productive capacity. Thanks to its high dose and high content of humic acids, the product acts quickly and effectively, and its use allows for a reduction in the amount of artificial fertilizers applied, contributing to environmental protection and the development of fertile, biologically active soil.
