Potatoes are cultivated for consumption, fodder, and food industry. Its varieties differ in vegetation length, ranging from early to late. Tubers constitute their yield; they are thickened parts of underground stems – stolons (not of roots). A stolon thickening period (tuber formation) commences just prior to formation of flower buds and lasts through the blossoming period. Potatoes, especially their early varieties, are susceptible to slight frosts, therefore it is advised to increase the plants' resistance to stress by applying NanoGro forte superstart to treat seed potatoes. Should leaves become damaged by slight frost, we advise immediate application of NanoGro Aqua 250 ml and naturalny plon 150-200 g/ha in form of spraying in order to regenerate cells and strengthen the plant.
Bi protect is perfect for preventive measures regarding fungal diseases.
With a yield of 10 tonnes of tubers and appropriate mass of surface parts (haulms), potato plants absorb on average: 40 kg of nitrogen (N), 15 kg of phosphorus (P2O5), 55-75 kg of potassium (K2O), 6 kg of calcium (CaO), 6-8 kg of magnesium (MgO), 6 kg of sulphur (S), 25 g of boron (B), 20 g of copper (Cu), 70 g of manganese (Mn), 1 g of molybdenum (Mo), and 65 g of zinc (Zn).
